News on Deptford Parks Proposals

As part of the Deptford Parks Liveable Neighbourhood project, Transport for London (TfL) has awarded the London Borough of Lewisham with funding to create a public art trail through the project area.

Lewisham based artist, Tom Berry , will be making a series of artworks based around stories of Deptford and New Cross. In particular he is looking for stories based close to (or in) Milton Court Estate, Folkestone Gardens and Deptford Park. The artworks will be installed throughout the project area to form a public art trail.

Tom Berry will also be at Festa Sul Prato, 222 Trundleys Rd, on Tuesday 30th July from 7-9pm to listen to your stories and memories about the area.
