Excellent proposals so far! Should extend these kind of crossings to Trundleys Road and Grinstead Road also to help vulnerable people cross the road and slow down fast paced traffic on these two roads. This kind of crossing would also be extremely beneficial at the end of Trundleys road where it meets Bush road (in front of Lidl) as pedestrians have got nowhere safe to cross at the moment and this is an incredibly dangerous and yet busy spot.

More planting and greenery - way are highways departments so allergic to soft landscaping? Traffic calming measures before crossings to slow down traffic could be useful (for walkers safety - there are quite a few rogue drivers in London...)
