Copenhagen Crossings

To help make cycling and walking in Lewisham safer we are introducing blended 'Copenhagen' crossings on some side road junctions in the Depford Parks area.

Copenhagen crossings are designed reinforce the rules of the Highway Code and give priority to pedestrians at side roads. They encourage vehicles to slow down and give way to pedestrians when entering or exiting side roads.

It is proposed that Copenhagen crossings will be installed at the following locations;
